Privacy
What this site collects, why, and how to get it deleted. Short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and one email to us takes you off the list.
The list
When you join the list we store your email address, your phone number if you choose to add one, which form you used (the homepage, say) and when you joined. That’s all.
We use it only for QUEMA announcements: lineups, ticket drops and new collections.
If you add a phone number, you agree to recurring texts from QUEMA about upcoming nights. How often varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We never share your number with anyone else for their marketing.
The list is kept in the site’s own database, hosted in the United States. Only the QUEMA team can see it, behind a sign-in. We keep your details on the list until you unsubscribe.
Unsubscribe or delete
Email hello@quemacollective.com from the address you signed up with, or tell us the email or number you used, and we’ll delete your entry from the list straight away — email and phone number both. A person handles every request; there’s no automatic unsubscribe link yet.
Copies can stay for a while in the private backups we keep in case the database fails. Backups are only ever used to restore the site, never to contact anyone.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, or to correct it, at the same address.
Preorders and donations
Preorders and donations for the Colombia + Venezuela Relief campaign are paid through Stripe Checkout, on Stripe’s own page. Card details go straight to Stripe — this site never sees or stores them.
For a preorder, Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address and phone number; for a donation, your email and payment details. The organizers, QUEMA × Morning Groove, use those details only to fulfill your order and to contact you about your order or donation. This site keeps no copy of either; Stripe holds them under its privacy policy. Buying or donating does not add you to the list.
Your cart is saved in your own browser so it survives a reload. It reaches us only when you press checkout, to start the Stripe payment.
Event tickets are sold by each night’s ticketing partner, under that partner’s own privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see which pages people visit and how quickly they load. Neither sets cookies or identifies you: they count page views, the site that sent you, and your country, browser and device type, in aggregate. The page you land on after paying is never measured.
Cookies and other services
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t run ads.
Artist mixes play through SoundCloud. The player only loads when you press play, and SoundCloud may then set its own cookies.
The team signs in to the site’s admin area through Clerk. That’s the only place Clerk runs: visitors are never asked to sign in or make an account.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block abuse.
What we never do
We don’t sell, rent or trade your details, and we don’t hand the list to other promoters, brands or sponsors.
Questions
Anything about your details or this page: hello@quemacollective.com. If what we collect changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
